Your Step-by-Step Guide to Applying for the Global Talent Independent Program

Reach out to Henley & Partners through our website, by phone, or email to register your interest in the Australian Global Talent Independent program.

Schedule an initial consultation with a Henley & Partners representative. This can be conducted in person, over the phone, or via video call.

During the consultation, provide details about your background, skills, and achievements for an initial eligibility assessment.

Henley & Partners will conduct a detailed evaluation of your eligibility based on the Australian Global Talent Independent program's criteria.

If your profile is deemed eligible for the GTI program and you are onboarded as a client, Henley & Partners will provide guidance on securing a nomination from an eligible individual or organization in Australia.

Henley & Partners will assist in the preparation of a compelling Expression of Interest (EOI) through the collation of key documentation and evidence highlighting your skills, achievements, and the value you bring to Australia.

Henley & Partners will submit the EOI through the Department of Home Affairs’ official channel, formally expressing your interest in the Global Talent Independent program.

Upon approval of the EOI, you will receive an invitation to apply for the Global Talent Independent visa.

Henley & Partners will work with you to prepare and submit the Global Talent Independent visa application to the Department of Home Affairs, including all required supporting documentation and fees.

Complete health examinations and character assessments as required by the Australian government.

Henley & Partners will assist in monitoring the progress of your visa application and liaise with the Department of Home Affairs on your behalf.

Once your visa application is approved, Henley & Partners will notify you of the grant and provide guidance on the operation of your permanent residence visa and pathway to Australian citizenship, should that be desired.

Henley & Partners provides support with your settlement in Australia, including information on accommodation, banking, education, healthcare, and other essential services.
